Timeframe for New Tires
The great thing about tires is that when you buy a vehicle from our dealership, they are going to last you for several years. However, after some time, their tread and life does tend to decrease. It is typically suggested by the manufacturer to have brand-new ones installed after about six years. Luckily, you can do a penny test yourself to see the state that yours are currently in. Simply take a coin and put it head up into the tread, and if you’re able to see Lincoln’s face, you might want to stop by our service bay. Driving in harsh conditions, such as rain, snow, and ice decreases the tire pressure and tends to wear them down. This causes the rubber to crack and also dry out. You’ll also be happy to hear that if you purchase components from us you are going to have 100 percent road hazard coverage for replacements within the first 24 months1. We’ll even price match your tires1 if you find the same ones at a different location.
